The exemption certificate types vary from one to another and the validation period is shown on the certificate.
If you change institutions, you need to send an application with the required amendment fee to the Board so your exemption certificate can be transferred to the receiving institution. If you qualified for Senate’s Discretionary exemption, you need to find out from the receiving institution whether they are prepared to accept you with based on the previous institution’s decision.
Exemptions are issued to the institution where you have been registered. You can apply to as many institutions as you want to, but you can only register at ONE institution for an academic year.
