Universities South Africa pays tribute to the late Professor Lis Lange

Universities South Africa (USAf) is deeply saddened by the passing of Professor Lis Lange, a senior scholar and significant contributor to thought leadership in higher education, particularly in the areas of higher education transformation and social justice for the greater good of society. Professor Lange had only recently resigned from her membership of Universities South Africa’s Teaching and Learning Strategy Group (TLSG).  She was serving the last year of her first two-year term when, due to ill-health, she requested to step down in June 2025.
