Language Policy Framework for Public Higher Education Institutions Determined in Terms of Section 27(2) of the Higher Education Act 101 of 1997 as Amended
This is the policy instrument that the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation gazetted in October 2020, to provide a framework for the development and strengthening of indigenous languages as languages of scholarship, teaching and learning and communication at South Africa’s public higher education institutions.
