Notwithstanding the significant contribution of scholarly publishers to knowledge production nationally and globally, changes taking place in the world of publishing – including digitisation; the rise of social media and changes in the culture of reading — have placed them under tremendous pressure. Scholarly presses need the support of all of us, if they are to survive and continue doing their wonderful work.
